In our village no one used words that had 100% negative meaning. It was "no" and a good word. The first part would slip a bit, leaving the good word. People were very positive, women especially. I remember all of them very old, more than 90 years old, still happy about something. When I was older, they would ask me, a few other girls, someone's granddaughters, drink water only from underground pipe, deep underground waters. It was not boiled, just fresh.
