It was time in my life
When I thought, I cannot do it any more.
Small child, have to work, no family here,
No place in daycare,
Friend copied my name on a legal paper.
And as normal person, university educated,
I thought about jumping from a bridge first.
And this how I heard voice of God.
I was in the car, thinking about bridge, kind of important step.
Turned on car's CD player, it was military song about winning the Second World War.
The next second light from Jewish synagogue brighten my face and I heard words:
Don't leave your child without mother.
All my sadness just disappeared...
The next day I was in a book store and the first book that was in front of me,
Was a book about women during the Second World War.
Mother holding two kids, a boy and girl, in the middle of completely destroyed our city.
Women working, nurses, teachers,
Looking at me:
Why don't you smile,
Go enjoy, have a walk, be happy you live without war...
