just a thought

My grandmothers and grandfathers,
Great grand mothers, great grand fathers
Won the most difficult war in the world,
The Second World War.
It took lives of twenty seven million of our people:
Men, women and children.
Its official fact, you can find in any history book.
They had a choice, and the only one choice was to fight, because
No one can touch me, my family and my country.
The young and old people,
Men, women and children
Were fighting until the victory, no matter what,
How hard it was, night or day, hot or rain.
They stood strong, believed and went for what
Was right in their strong-will mind.
My grand great aunt, who is still alive,
Was a military nurse at that time, says:
I didn't just go for me,
I went for you too...
