Birthdays

My father used to have the biggest birthdays,
Now too, only with grandchildren,
Reading birthday cards how grandpa great he is,
Watching TV for children,
Cooking and cleaning for a week after.
Before he would buy almost all local supermarket,
And finish it all with his few coworkers, us and his wife.
It was insane time, sometimes my sister won't show up,
She would laugh she can't, or don't answer the phone.
I have to go alone, cannot refuse, it's was a tradition,
For father's good health.
Look his farm, pigs and a cow,
New house, eat again, it took all day.
After one of the birthdays when I was walking home,
I was looking at the two moons right near each other,
One on the left, one on the right.
And at home it was another story,
My mom was telling me to go were I came from..
